For a client of Essence Cartoon, this project takes a live-steam, co-op game play of Minecraft and turns it into a seven part animated miniseries. Each character was rigged and animated using personalized assets and emotions that would bring out the personality matched with the real world player. Character designs by Ruairidh Brunton.

Character Animator
Each character is designed in Photoshop and given a puppet-like structure in Character Animator. The animator will then create presets known as triggers that allow the character to move, react, interact, and preform at the push of a button! Each character contains a personalized set of triggers which contains multiple iterations of hand sets, mouth sets, props, and emotions that are based upon information within the script and animatic.
When done correctly, the design comes to life and makes high volume productions a breeze to animate.
